This exhibit is a reconstruction of the bridge on a container ship. The bridge is where the captain gives navigational commands to crews on the ship. Behind the bridge is the chart room where officers would plan for the upcoming trips on sea. There is a nautical chart on the chart room desk. Normally, the officer on duty would draw the lines and alter routes based on weather conditions. There are also more sea charts drawn to different scales kept inside the drawers of the chart room.
In this bridge reconstruction, there are three monitors showing how ships enter the Container Wharf No. 2 at the Port of Kaohsiung in southern Taiwan. In this exhibition, all of the equipment came from former Evergreen container ships.
