Hamlet, one of Shakespeare’s most famous characters, lived in Kronborg

Castle in the town of Helsingør. The Renaissance castle, located on the coast between Denmark and Sweden, is depicted in “Flamer of Jersey passing Kronborg Castle”. The painting is one of many intriguing artworks on show at the Evergreen Maritime Museum in Taipei.
